Parking lots for Chiefs' games open three and a half hours before the game starts. If you want to park closely you need a season pass for parking to get the best spots for the game and for tailgating. While the parking lot won't have 80,000 cars in it at 9 a.m. it is still a great idea to get there early if you want to secure the best spots. Games are more of an all-day experience rather than just cheering on the Chiefs for three hours.

After the Game
Fans gather after the game to continue tailgating win or lose. Like any NFL fans, Chiefs fans discuss what happened during the day's game for good, bad and even ugly. This year is a new team, led by Coach Andy Reid. We are looking forward to this, team 2013.
Any leftover food from the pre-game tailgate is saved for after the game to be consumed. Fans can still smell grills being fired up long after the final whistle was blown. Breaking out the Boulevard beer is also an after-game tradition from a local brewery.
